Thousandth participant starts with BmA
Our colleague and BmA trainer Jolanda surprised Mrs. Klaassen with a bouquet of flowers during her first training of Moving with Attention.
A special milestone! Ms. Klaassen was the 1,000th participant to join our Mindful Movement (BmA) program. Our colleague and BmA trainer Jolanda surprised her with a bouquet of flowers during her first training session. "How wonderful! I thought something was wrong for a moment," Ms. Klaassen joked.
Fitter and stronger
Mrs. Klaassen initially hesitated to participate. But her husband eventually persuaded her. "I used to run half marathons and was active in the athletics club. But in recent years, I've fallen several times, breaking my wrist three times. After such a fall, I didn't have the strength to get up." She also struggles with rheumatism, heart rhythm disorders, and high blood pressure when standing up. All of this motivated her to start anyway: "I want to feel fitter and stronger again. And to be able to continue cycling with confidence."
Exercise really makes a difference
Since the beginning of 2025, we've offered every new client the opportunity to participate in our exercise program. This program allows clients to train their fitness, strength, and balance twice a week for 20 minutes for 12 weeks. This happens at home, under the guidance of a trainer. Because exercise truly makes a difference: it increases strength and balance, fosters greater independence, and contributes to a better quality of life. And we want as many clients as possible to experience this.
We wish Mrs. Klaassen much success and enjoyment in the upcoming training sessions!
