If your patient also needs care at night, we will arrange that. This can be planned or unplanned. We can even be present the entire night. We do this, for example, in the terminal phase or to relieve a caregiver. A district nurse determines whether night care is necessary.

For an acute care need, we have an Acute Team. Nurses from this team respond to reports of a personal alarm, for example. They provide acute nursing care and actions. This can ensure that your patient does not have to go to the GP post or emergency room. And we deploy the Acute Team in the event of a crisis. Or if temporary extra care is needed in an emergency. We do not only do this for our own clients. We also do this for clients and patients of other healthcare providers in the region.
Do we receive a request for acute care? The district nurse then assesses what is needed at that moment. Should a colleague go to the client? Or can it wait until a planned care moment or a doctor's consultation?

Does your patient need extra care? That can be nice if the informal caregiver is sometimes unable to help. Or if there is no informal caregiver. Then Hups can offer a solution. Your patient can arrange this care themselves. The health insurer does not reimburse this. Hups offers, among other things:
