Day care gets you moving
We offer day care specifically for people with non-congenital brain damage. With non-congenital brain injury, some things are no longer self-evident. In a safe and stimulating environment, we offer a structured program with personal attention. This is how we help you pick up everyday things again:

- we work on your fine motor skills
We help you to bring structure back into your day. And we make sure that you get moving. For example, by walking. But also with physiotherapy and exercises. In addition, we work on your fine motor skills during everyday activities. Cooking, for example. Or board games. Or by making handicrafts or other creative things. And of course there is plenty of room to exchange experiences with others. Or just have a nice chat. In this way, we improve your independence and self-confidence.

How do I apply for day care?
To participate in day care, you need a Wmo indication. Wmo stands for Social Support Act. You arrange this via your municipality. Most municipalities have a special Wmo counter.
If you need intensive care for a long period of time, you can apply for an indication under the Long-term Care Act. This is also called a Wlz indication. You can apply for this via the CIZ.
How much does day care cost?
The municipality pays the largest part of the costs for day care. You still have to pay a small part yourself. How much that is, an employee of the Wmo counter of your municipality can tell you.
Do you have a Wlz indication? Then it pays health care office a portion of the costs of care. You will also have to pay something for this yourself. How much that is depends on your income. On the website van het CAK you can calculate this yourself.
